Your trip to the veterinarian is almost as educational for you as it is checking out your pet. Besides your many questions and concerns that you may bring with you to the exam room, please bring any relevant health information you have, such as records of vaccinations and deworming. While answering your questions, your veterinarian will likely do the following:
The Clinton Veterinary Hospital advises that all animals undergo an annual health check. This is often carried out at the time of the annual vaccination, although pets who don’t need vaccinations done yet still need to have check-ups to enable early detection of diseases.
During the annual health check, our vets will examine:
Vaccines are products designed to trigger protective immune responses and prepare the immune system to fight future infections from disease-causing agents. Vaccines stimulate the immune system's production of antibodies that identify and destroy disease-causing organisms that enter the body.

Hi! It's really nice to meet you all! I am a veterinarian assistant and have been in this field for 5 years and still counting. March 5, 2021 marked the day I have been employed here for 3 years, and also still counting. I am currently in school now to receive my license to be a certified Vet Tech, and very happy to say that it will be complete very soon. I currently own two four-legged furry children at the age of 20 months old, named Shadow and Autumn. They are both cats and I have had them since they were 7 month old kittens. The hospital knows me as "The Cat Lady" due to my love for cats, even though I have a general love for ALL animals.
It’s a big question, with a simple answer: we’re veterinarian who care. Our philosophy has always been to show animals the care, respect, and compassion that they deserve. Every aspect of our practice speaks to their needs, from the decor to the special way we interact with each pet as an individual.
We are first and foremost a team of animal lovers, who happen to also possess extraordinary skills in veterinary medicine. As a hospital accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association, we demonstrate our commitment and passion for the highest standards of veterinary medicine.
